Month Long HCAA Art Exhibit in Teas Landscape Offices

Artist: Nell Jenkins

Nells Jenkins paintings are in the realistic style. These beautiful pastels portray a number of different subjects. Ms. Jenkins was born in Louisianna but moved to Texas in the 3rd grade with her 11 brothers and sisters. She worked for a number of years at the V.A. hospital. Now retired, she enjoys tennis and her art. She is a member of HCAA and also the Houston Art Society. Her paintings are in the gallery of the Brenham Fine Arts League. She has studied with portrait painter, Jeraine Reat and attends workshops.

Ms. Jenkins showed her work at Teas Landscape Office in June, 2006. Nell Jenkins is a member of the Houston Civic Arts Association.

Teas Nursery invited a different artist each month to exhibit selected pieces of their work in the Teas Landscape Office formerly at 4400 Bellaire Blvd.
